Transfer cover
If you have super accounts outside of BUSSQ that include Death, Disability or Income Protection insurance, you might be able to transfer the cover to your BUSSQ account.
BUSSQ accepts transfers of insurance cover
You can apply to transfer up to $1 million of Death only or Death and TPD cover and up to $10,000 per month (before tax) of Income Protection cover from your other super fund(s) to BUSSQ, without providing detailed health evidence. Screening questions do apply.

Having one super account makes sense - less fees, less paperwork. If you have rolled over your insurance cover to BUSSQ, you should consider rolling over your account balance from your other fund as well.
BUSSQ will advise you within 5 business days of any decision by our insurer regarding your application to transfer your previously held cover to BUSSQ.
